She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Cole and Virginia Atkisson Cole. She is survived by: her children, Vickie Howell (Doug) of Shelbyville and Stan Thomason (Jennifer Bracey) of Lynchburg; her brother Ronnie Cole of Lewisburg; and her close friend Little Bit. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.
