She was predeceased by: her parents, Artilee Davis Campbell and Herbert Campbell; her husband James R. Lanier; and her siblings, Herbert C. Campbell and Wilma Sims Ijames.
She is survived by: her children, James L., Duval (Angela) and Barbara Lanier; her grandchildren, Mashonda Tillman (Richie), Delicia Manuel (Brian), Jason Lanier, Solomon Lanier and Elijah Lanier; her great grandchildren, Jay'ona Lanier, Elysa Manuel and Brian Manuel, Jr.; and her sisters, Irene Matthews, Marie Castleman (Edward) and Annette Chunn (William). She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
