He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Calahan, Sr. and Viola Arnold Calahan. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Rittenberry Calahan of Shelbyville; his sons, Jimmy Calahan (Scarlette) of Shelbyville and Daniel Calahan of Shelbyville; and his grandchildren, Ben and Rees Calahan.
