He is survived by: his wife Mabel Sue Faulkner Cates; his daughters, Donna Parsons, Brenda Hardison (Steve) and Cathy (Tim); and his grandchildren, Matthew Parsons (Kathryn), Joshua Parsons (Brooke), Caleb Parsons (Jessica), Sarah Margaret Sain (Clint), Kelby Demonbreum (Janie), Blair Lovvorn (Daniel) and Jamie Demonbreum. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
