He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Reed Sr. and Ola Beatrice Carter Reed; and his daughters, April Michelle Reed and Misty Ann Reed. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lynn Pollock Reed; his children, Samantha Hittson (Coty) and Martin Travis (Kendra); his brother Charles Herman Reed Sr.; and his grandchildren, Kale Hittson, Ellie Hittson and Olivia Reed.
