He is survived by: his children, Rita Sue Briggs of Shelbyville, TN, Linda Gail Flannery (Wyatt) of Lewisburg, TN and Robert D. Griggs of Shelbyville, TN; his grandchildren, Wayne Segroves (Gail), Charity Halburnt (Terence), Ashley Bilbrey, Jamie Flannery, Wyatt Earp Flannery, Stephanie Ann Griggs and James Robert D. Griggs; and his siblings, Lewis Griggs and Marie Griggs. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
