She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Pewitt; her parents, Walter Connell and Eula Bell Molder Scales; her brother Alton Scales; and her brother-in-law William Heflin.
She is survived by: her children, Brent Pewitt (Laura) and Sharon Greer (Brad); her grandchildren, Bradley and Abby Greer; her stepgrandchildren, Mathias Anderson (Alison), Myles Anderson (Samantha) and Grace Anderson; her siblings, Connie King (FZ), Rodney Scales (Myrna), Nancy Heflin and Helen Collier (Kary); and her nieces and nephews, Eric Scales (Jen), Todd Scales (Sarah), Kevin Collier (Kristie), Bryan Collier (Karri), Janet Clarkson (Andy), Melanie Scales and Kelley Heflin.
