He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Haylee R. Cassady; his siblings, Vincent Cassady, Vernon Cassady, Robert Ritter, Bill Ritter, Virginia Collins, Nixola Hamilton, Pat Cassady and Peggy Marshall; and his pet Lady.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Cassady (Charmaine) and Jackie Reckling (Jay); and his brother Edward "Ed" Ritter (Shirley). He is also survived by five grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
