She was predeceased by: her parents, Doyle Whitaker and Theola Green Whitaker; and her husband James H. Cole. She is survived by: her children, Truly A. Cole of Shelbyville, Janice B. Croom of Shelbyville, Teresa C. Miles (Tony) of Murfreesboro and James Edward Cole of Dayton, Ohio; her brother Henry Whitaker; and her aunt Essie Reese. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
