It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Swing Taylor of Shelbyville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Franklin Gerald Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Susan Taylor; his granddaughters, Teresa Clanton (Stan) and Lisa Bearden (Clark); and his great grandchildren, Matt Clanton, Cannon Bearden, Taylor Bearden, Ryan Clanton and Casey Curry (Shane).
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to be made to Grace Baptist Church, St. Jude's Research Hospital, or New Destiny Dog Rescue.
