Though Evelyn Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Evelyn Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Osborne Elijah "O. E." Wells and Sara Elizabeth Douglas Wells; and her brother Osborne Eugene Wells. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Cathryn Perry (Allen) of Shelbyville and Douglas Wells (Brenda) of Tullahoma. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Funeral Home (1802 Madison St, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
