He is survived by: his children, Ernest Ray Lyons, Tina Howard (Calvin), Teresa Cannon, Denise Haislip and Shirelle Lyons; and his siblings, George Lyons (Bobbie), John Lyons and Lula Lyons. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
