He was predeceased by: his father Albert P. Cook; his brothers, H. B. Cook, Madison Cook and Ralph Cook (Annie); and his grandparents, Hiram B. and Tennie C. Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Cook; his children, Ernest Timothy Cook of Shelbyville and Susan Wilson (Howard) of Lascassas; his daughter-in-law Karen Landers Cook of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Whitney Cook, Taylor Beth Batten (Daniel), Madison Layne Cook of Shelbyville, Claire Oliver (Kris) of Lascassas and Matt Wilson (Turner) of Murfreesboro; his great grandchildren, Ada Leigh Oliver of Virginia, Locke Matthew Oliver of Lascassas and Holt Thomas Wilson of Murfreesboro; his stepdaughter Shawn Shearon (Daniel); and his stepgrandchildren, Coble, Katelen and Sarah Shearon of Shelbyville.
