He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Edwin and Judith Frances Williams Hasty. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hester Hasty; his sons, Darin E. Hasty (Michelle) of Shelbyville and Derek T. Hasty (Molly) of Simpsonville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Dayton E. Hasty, Dawson C. Hasty of Shelbyville, Lucy A. Hasty and Boyd T. Hasty (Bo) of Simpsonville, Kentucky; his brother Gary L. Hasty (Donna) of Brentwood; and his siblings-in-law, Ann and Fred Patterson of Unionville. He is also survived by three nieces, two nephews, and several first cousins.
