She was predeceased by: her father James William; her husband Guy Ewin Burks; and her siblings, Evelyn Frances Arnold, Betty Jane Holton and Jimmy W. Holton.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Connie Baird and Sherry Gibbs (Thomas); her niece Kenya Fults; and her nephews, Michael Holton and Rickey Holton. She is also survived by four great nieces and, nephews; fourteen great great nieces and nephews; and three great great great nieces.
