He is survived by: his children, Shawanda Wells (Jeremy), Carrissia Foy (Edward), Donnell Rodgers, Jr. and Jeffery Donnell Brown; his brother Robert Thomas Rodgers (Betty); his grandchildren, Antonio Espy, Tristan Rodgers, Tyrique Wells, Da'Lionna Rodgers, Jeffrey Crutcher, Marcus Cross, Edward Foy III and Robert Foy; his cousins, Carolyn Goodman, Waymon Lanier, Joyce Dawson and Robert Lanier; his siblings-in-law, Albert Ransom, Larry Robertson, Oscar Cannon, Iris Robertson, Jacklyn Cannon, Brenda Rodgers and Annie Bell Ransom; and his caregiver Jackie Jackson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
