It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Alston Snell of Shelbyville, Tennessee, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Alston and Lorraine Alston; her husband Joe Frank Snell Sr.; and her sister Barbara Earlene Black. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Snell of Shelbyville, Joe F. Snell Jr. (Jennifer) of Unionville and Raine Baird (Casey) of Chapel Hill; her brothers, Doug Alston (Glenda) of Fishville, LA and Johnny Alston (Shelley) of Pineville, LA.; her grandchildren, Stephanie Thole (Chris), Chris Gentry (Dakota) and Austin Snell; and her great grandchildren, Bryson, Dylan Thole, Levi Gentry and Chloe Lorraine Thole.
