He is survived by: his son Danny Darnell (Alicia) of Petersburg; his sisters, Brenda Brinkley (Davis) of Estill Springs, Patsy Cook of Wartrace and Vicki Darnell of Shelbyville; and his grandsons, Alec Darnell and Caleb Darnell.
