He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Aldridge and Hazel Aldridge; his wife Elaine Aldridge; his children, David Aldridge (Angela), Christopher Kirk (Billie Jean), Tony Kirk (Crystal) and Ashley Walker (Adam); and his siblings, Chuck Aldridge (Janet), Debbie Stanfield (Homer), Vicky Phares (Harvey), Star Prather and Melody Harrison. He was also cherished by seventeen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
