It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlene Ann Taylor of Shelbyville, Tennessee, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Omage Hammond and Bessie Evelyn Blair Hammond; her son Trace Handy; and her siblings, Margaret "Peggy" Feck, Martha Cash (Eugene) and Allen Hammond.

She is survived by: her husband Walter Taylor; her children, Brad Handy, Barabara Newsom (Jim), Terry Handy (Kay), Sandra Sadler (Pete) and Meridith Miller (Rob); her sisters, Darlene Arlinghaus (Jim) and Sue Marshall (Rob); and her grandchildren, Josh Brandon, Daniel Brandon, Andrew Brandon, James Handy (Johnna), Jonathan Handy, Justin Handy (Wendy), Dylan Burks, Brandi Bunn (Billy), Michelle Handy (Eric), Dylan Handy, Jessica James Tomlin, Elijah James (Mikayla) and Zach James. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
