He was predeceased by: his former wife Martha Y. Marlin of Franklin, TN; his parents, Oline Karns Marlin and Robert M Marlin; his stepmother Evelyn Wray Marlin; his grandparents, Maude Karns Parnell (Granny), Joseph Karnes, Adeline A. Marlin and James M Marlin; his siblings, Barbara Marlin Banks (Arnold A. Banks Jr.) and Dale E. Marlin of Carrsville, VA; and his stepbrother Larry Wray of Huntsville, AL.
He is survived by: his son Kelly Marlin (Barbara Seivers Marlin); his grandson Timothy Marlin of Murfreesboro, TN; his brother Donald Marlin of Shepherdsville, KY; his stepsister Joyce Forgarty of Madison, TN; and his sister-in-law Helen Marlin of Carrsville, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
