He was predeceased by: his parents, C. J. Clanton Jr. and Frances Blackwell Clanton; and his significant other Dorothy Arwood. He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Elizabeth Clanton; his siblings, Alvin Ray Clanton (Sue), Jerry Lee Clanton (Phyllis) and Shirley Clanton Davis; his grandchildren, Amber and Whitney; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Tylen "Bubba", Grayson, Devin and Bella; and his great great grandchild Kinsleigh.
