It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ruth Zachman of Shelbyville, Tennessee, born in Bimble, Kentucky, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon McCown and Lucille Rose "Lucy" McCown; her husband Paul Eugene Zachman; her children, Ronnie Zachman and Terra Freeman; her grandson Doug Freeman; her siblings, Maxine Swim, Byrdie Mae McCown, Robert, Lambert, Paul Delbert and John McCown; and her stepfather Loyd Hinkle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tamme Horton (Richard) and Mary Ann Ragsdale; her grandchildren, Melissa Becker, Aaron Freeman, Jessica Freeman, Destine Cowan, Brittanie Phillips and Savannah Ruth Ragsdale; and her siblings, Gordon McCown, Dian Moreland and Virginia Horton. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
