She is survived by: her children, Lisa Locke of Shelbyville, TN, Patricia Bates (Jesse Syler) of Shelbyville, TN, Kenneth Bates of Hohenwald, TN and Anthony Bates (Rita) of Shelbyville, TN; and her siblings, Mary Jane Pruitt of Shelbyville, TN and Edward Owens of Plevna, AL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
