She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Lee Potts and Mary Ethel Parsons Potts; her former husband Aaron Ward Thomas; her husband Harold Cook; and her daughter Teri Thomas Schuman.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Thomas (Donna) of Shelbyville and Kathy Gannon (Tim) of Woodbury; and her grandchildren, Tera Davis (Ricky), Ashley Johnson (Jacob), Eric Hayworth (Abby), Tyler Thomas and Carly Gannon. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
