She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Eugene and Ruby Gladys Russell Pope; her siblings, Mary Russell Pope, Reverend Willis Pope (Marjorie), Charles, Jack and Prentice; her sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Jack), Diane, Johnie Ruth (Haywood), Marie (Thomas Dewey), Marjorie (Willis) and Juanita (Prentice); her great-nephew Jeremy; and her great-niece Chloe.
She is survived by: her brothers, Haywood, Alton, Allen and Baby Brother Thomas Dewey; and her nieces and nephews, Gay, Marilyn, Betty Carol, Randy, David, Melissa, Donna, Diana, Deborah, Christopher, Susie, Candy, Michael, Angela, Joy, Joshua, Sharon, Shelly, Rusty, Darryl, Johnny, Karen and Rebecca.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Edgemont Baptist Church (150 Fairfield Pike, Shelbyville, TN 37160). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Cothran Cemetery.
