He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Lewis and Maude Lewis; his wife Barbara Lewis; his siblings, Ollie Mae Jones, Evelyn Bell Lewis, Leonard, Dan and Merwin Lewis; and his son-in-law Vaughn.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Vaughn of Fosterville, Darryl Lewis (Pam) of Christiana, Laura Parham (George) of Shelbyville and Rob Lewis (Shondelle) of Murfreesboro; and his sisters, Elvera Smith, Frances Foster, June Jones and Elaine Stacy (Paul). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren.
