He was predeceased by: his father Roy Edgar Leverette; and his siblings, Bobby, Roy, Marvin Leverette and Elizabeth Warren.
He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Leverette, James Leverette, William Leverette (Diane), Anthony Leverette (Rosemary), Vickie Benson (David) and Michael Blackman. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 30 plus great grandchildren.
