She was predeceased by: her parents, Kate Frierson Boyd and Thomas Franklin Boyd. She is survived by: her children, David Shapard Marks III (Bess), Franklin Boyd Marks (Cindi), Allen Woods Marks and Amie Lee Marks; and her grandchildren, David Shapard Marks IV (Raven), Kate Marks Hines (Chris), Robinson Swift Marks (Ashley) and Christopher Boyd Marks. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
