She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herman and Velma Key Parker; her husband Donald Franklin Deason; her children, Angela Reed and Anthony "Tony" Deason; her granddaughter Anna Deason; and her brothers, Charles Parker of James Herman, Parker Jr., William Parker and Ellis Parker.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Andrew F. Deason and Gloria Bane; her children, Cathy Leverette (Thomas), Patricia "Pat" Donovan (Ricky) and David Deason (Pat); her sister Geraldine Mason; and her daughter-in-law Nell Deason. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; forty-five great grandchildren and, eight great great grandchildren.
