He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Brantley and Willie Brantley (White); his son James Brantley (Jimmy); and his brothers, Troy, Arthur, Charlie, David, Willis (Buzz), Arnold and Darryl Brantley.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Dyke Brantley; his sister Lisa Gilbert; his daughters, Debra Moyers (Ben) and Julie Kitts (Adam); his grandchildren, Jacob, Seth, Noah, Emma, Fayth and Hope; and his friends, Ernest Hatmaker and Julie Cowell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
His Knowledge and guidance were the foundation of his family and he was also a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
