She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Cole and Hettie Cole (Cox); her son John Martin Edwards; and her grandson James Adam Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Marlene Godfrey (Ronald) and Michael Edwards of Maynardville; her grandchildren, Stacy Edwards, Dakota Edwards, Derrek Williams and Angel Edwards; her sister Wilma Lou Tolliver; and her niece Jeannie Tolliver Dyer of Sharps Chapel. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
