She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Sandy Lay; her husband Keith Beason; her daughter Valerie Greene (Jim Greene); her grandson Kenny Greene; her mother Carlean Lay; her siblings, Diane Lay, Cheryl Roark (Travis), Gail Sexton (Randy), Kenneth Lay (Amber), Lee Roy Lay (Donna) and Chester Lay (Mary); and her siblings-in-law, Sharon McBee (David) and Arnold Beason (Tammy). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins along with many friends.
