He was predeceased by: his wife Millicent Adams; his parents, R. C. Adams and Ordell Buckley; his children, Alan Brent Adams and Gail Adams; and his siblings, Bonnie Porch, Montel Black and Marlin Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Adams of Union City, TN, Ellen Adams of Sharon, Suzanne Crowell of South Fulton and Julie Adams of South Fulton; and his brother Hugh Adams of Dresden. He is also survived by two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
