He is survived by: his children, Beth Mathews (Jeff) of Sharon, Scott Avery (Leslie) of Sharon, Greg Avery (Janet) of Thompson's Station, TN and Ken (MaryAnn) of Dickson, TN.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
