He was predeceased by: his father Warren Miller; and his brother David Miller. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia McWhorter Miller of Sharon, Tennessee; his children, Jamie Miller of Sharon, Bobby Miller (Tracy) of Florida, David Anderson (Rachel) of Martin, Thomas Anderson of Sharon, Tennessee, Kari Lister of Sharon and Tracy Anderson of Sharon, Tennessee; and his siblings, Kenny Miller of Waverly, Tennessee and Lois Schertz of California. He is also survived by twenty four grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
