He is survived by: his wife Sharon Manis Hurd; his daughters, Emily Hurd Saldana (Dave) and Whitney Hurd; his grandson Ian Griffith Saldana; his mother Eulah Vaughan Hurd; his siblings, Anna Hurd Beverly (Roger) and Chris Hurd; his niece Catie Murph Mitchell (Chris); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Avery Jane and Mason; his cousin Stacy Vaughan; and his mother-in-law Mildred Manis.
