He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Marlar; his parents, Monroe Marlar and Mary Lee "Turnbow" Marlar; and his siblings, Geraldine Marlar and Wayne Marlar.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Marlar of Sharon, Regina Houston (Larry) of Martin, Treva Hocker (James) of Winchester, KY, Savannah Marlar of Sharon and Cherre Whitemore (Eddie) of Berea, KY.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
