He was predeceased by: his parents, Bryce Barton and Alice Osborne Barton; and his sister Libby Foster. He is survived by: his wife Glenna Scott Long Barton; and his sons, Billy Barton (Lisa) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tim Barton of Tampa, FL and Chuck Barton (Sarah) of Michigan. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
