He is survived by: his wife Louise Morley Ackermann; his children, Basil Ackermann (Li Bai) of Zürich, Switzerland, Evelyn Cate Galletti (Gabriel Galletti) of Nashville, TN and Dr. Frances L. Cate (Lawrence Luckey) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Lukas Ackermann, David Ackermann, Louis Gabriel Galletti, Martha Cate Galletti, Carson Charles Luckey and Robert Harrison Luckey; and his stepson Christopher Mullins.
