She was predeceased by: her father Ambrose Garland; her son Leslie Sluder; her grandson Shawn; and her brothers, Bobby Garland and Jimmy Garland.

She is survived by: her children, Dianne Donahue, Cindy Bublinec, Theresa Taylor, Rick Sluder and David Sluder; her siblings, Beverly McKinney, Vernis Garland and Lonnie Garland; and her friend Lee Pleasant. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
