He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Howard and Hallie Snyder Howard; his wife Capriece Cole Howard; his son Jeff Howard; his siblings, Hazel Congdon, Hester Williams, Eula Adams, Trula Muse, Lois Ann Adams and Roby Howard, Jr.; his son Erby Howard (Diana) of Shady Valley, TN; his brother Malcolm Howard; his grandsons, Joseph Howard and Cole Howard; and his great grandchildren, Briden Pope, Gavin Pope and Eleanor Jo Howard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shady Valley Cranberry Festival; Olan Bentley Scholarship Fund, 423 Hwy 133, Shady Valley, TN 37688; or Shriner's Hospital.
