He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia "Tootsie" Gibson; his son Gregory Gibson; and his parents, Robert Gibson and Edith Gibson. He is survived by: his children, Steven Gibson (Terri), Tinka Gibson and Connie Whitted (Ray); his grandchildren, Derrick Gibson (Misty), Dustin Gibson (Rebecca), Ryan King, Kyan King (Ericca), Joshua King and Michael Whitted; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Gibson, Abigail Gibson, Ridge King and Dante Whitted. He is also survived by five sisters and two brothers.
