With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Retha E. Smith of Seymour, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Steven A. Smith; her parents, Luther Engle and Ethel Partin; and her brother Larry Engle. She is survived by: her children, Phillip (Royal), Gina (Greg), David (Amy), Laureen (Danny), Michael (Penny), Rebecca (Tim) and Daniel (Kim); her sisters, Ruth, Alaine and Anita; and her stepmother Marguerite. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
