She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Richard Watson Sr. and Johnnie Lou Myers Watson; her siblings, Junior Watson and Billie Joy Epps; her husband Lester D. McCarter; and her grandson Travis Nease.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Nease of Seymour, Randall S. McCarter (Carrie) of Colorado and Dale R. McCarter (Donna) of Seymour; her grandchildren, Glenna N. Troutman, Sarah N. Hollingsworth, Randall S. McCarter Jr., Jenny M. Sypula, Andrea Bostwick, Aaron, Alisha McCarter, Randall W. McCarter and Jessica Miller; her nieces, Janie Sonneland, Brenda Sims, Carolyn Whaley and Kim Hopkins; and her nephew Joe Epps. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
