She was predeceased by : her father Edgar Jimerson. She is survived by : her mother Anne Jimerson; her husband Randall Burton; her daughters, Heather Heap (Kevin) and Jana Austin (Mike); her mother-in-law Juanita Burton; her sisters, Patricia Huntley (David) and Cindy Burgess; and her grandchildren, Cassidy Heap, Kaia Heap and Elijah Austin. She is also survived by extended family and friends.

Donations to Seymour United Methodist Church are also being accepted in her honor.
