He is survived by: his son Bobby Russell, Jr. (Renee) of Mars Hill; his grandchildren, Hali Ledbetter (Trevor) of Alexander and Kyle Russell (Samantha) of Marshall; the mother of his child Genevieve Russell of Clyde; and his siblings, Gene Russell (Dee) of Waynesville and Carrie Ann Nelson (Michael) of Winston Salem. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
