With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Wolff (Sewanee, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Chesnut and Aurora Cox Chesnut; her former husband Alex Schnell; her husband Clarence Wolff; and her brothers, Glen Chesnut and Raymond Chesnut.
She is survived by: her children, Arnold Schnell (Susan), Ralph Schnell (Kerrie) and Alecia Tilson; her grandchildren, Eric Schnell (Katie), Ben Schnell (Natalie), Kylie Barber (Ben), Laryssa McFadyen (Eli) and Sheanna O'Brien; her great grandchildren, Cooper, Caleb, Eva, Conrad, Harriet, Frances, Matilda, Willa and Eleanor; and her caregiver Cheryl Daniels.
