Patsy Sue Cox Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2023, at the age of 81, Patsy Sue Cox (Sewanee, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Luther Bone, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Owens Bone; and her siblings, Mary Eva Bone, Charles Wesley Bone, Bobby Bone, Martin Luther Bone, Jr. and Ruth Ellen Keel.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen Wayne Cox; her daughters, Susan Lisko (Frankie) of Slovak, Karen McKinney (Kevin) of Little Rock, Debi White (Steve) of Huntersville, Tammy Smartt (James) of Monteagle and Jennifer O'Neal (Mike) of Pelham, Tennessee.; her grandchildren, Josh Lisko (Jill), Paige Weaver (Wade), Jacob Lisko (Anna Hamilton), Taylor McKinney (Tyler Compton), Bailey McKinney, Matthew White, Connor White, Libby White, Joseph White, Anna White, Holly McBee (John), Melissa Smartt, Laura Williams (Michael), Alli O'Neal, MaKayla O'Neal and Layton O'Neal; her great grandchildren, Ethan Lisko, Peyton Lisko, Addie Weaver, Charlotte Weaver and Arlie Lisko; her grandchildren, Brantley McBee, Zane McBee, Colt Williams and Case Williams; her sister Janice Ogelvie (Milton); and her friend Faye Ricketts. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Memory of Patsy Cox to St. James Episcopal Church for the Midway/St. James Community Playground, PO Box 336, Sewanee, TN 37375. Additionally, donations are welcomed in her memory to Monteagle First Baptist Church, PO Box 574, Monteagle, TN 37356.
