With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Novella Hargis Moore of Sewanee, Tennessee, who passed away on September 3, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Hargis and Irene Troxler Hargis; and her brother Ray Hargis. She is survived by: her daughters, Jenny Reid (Bill) of Murfreesboro, TN, Cathy Rangeo of Fleming Island, FL, Lee Ann Backlund (Dan) of Sewanee, Vicki Shuford of Chattanooga, TN and Beth Perkins of Memphis, TN; and her grandchildren, Chase Graham (Susie) of Plano, TX, Kristen (Andy), MD of California, Michael Shuford of Greenville, SC, Libba Shuford of Chattanooga, TN, Andy Reid (Hannah) of Memphis, TN, Alex Rangeo (Josie) of Orange Park, FL, Greer, Bryce Perkins of Memphis, TN, Ashley Douglas (Alan) of Atoka, TN, Will Reid (Monica) of Franklin, TN and Leslie Lloyd (John) of Memphis, TN.. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
